LFW Richard Nicoll

Cool,Calm, and collected. Nicoll's blue textured combinations
Relaxed fit, with an air of elegance
Richard Nicoll's collection made the phrase feeling blue an absolute positive. A collection full of boyish charm meets woman at the office, gave us ruffles, pleats, and loosely tailored suits.
Layer upon layer of blues
Soft ruffles hug the figure
Mesh-like knitwear and mohair covered in glitter and areas of sequins that morphed over pale blue sweaters. Denim, leather and fur popped up everywhere and in unexpected garments. There was pure ease that washed over us while we watched the show. There was a sense of perfection, nothing was out of place at Richard Nicoll.
Natural rusted tones create an elegant feel

Nicolls palette reminded us of rust and decay, naturally beautiful.
As the finale neared Richard Nicoll introduced us to golds, reds and hot pinks perfect for that end of the year party. Ideal to range from nonchalant office wear to an after work party.

Thom Browne - Exciting, Original, Crazy, everything I loveeeeee in mens design.

Ever since I set eyes on this collection I smiled inside, several nights of dreams intwined with his dramatic print combinations and day time dreaming I knew it was something special.
My relationship between print and texture always relates back to interiors and here i am faced with print combinations that make me smile from ear to ear.
Mixtures of scales, drama and traditional interior style fabrics all together and worn with such style; throw in my favourite animal and a few ears for good measure and you are entering the world of the next big creative.
I await with bated breathe every season for Thome's work, may it be women's or men's. And every time I could never guess what my eyes would be treated to. And let me say I AM NEVER DISAPPOINTED.
