LFW Sister by Sibling

One that always gets me excited ....
Sister by sibling always a treat, a packed show and a great buzz on the catwalk.

Smiley models shimmied down the catwalk in slogan jumpers,
batty rider shorts
and a selection of crocheted two pieces.
Big american house wife hair and classic flick black eyeliner, referencing the glamourous girls of the 1950s.
Colourful animal prints and a touch of denim finished off the look.
Casting was a real treat with a great selection of girls.
Swimsuits - knitted of course referencing the classic 1950s shape
Basket weave crochet in contrasting colours
 Two pieces
classic Bridget Bardot style make up and hair
And a school girls gaggle came down the run way on the finale smiling and grouping reds, blacks and matching prints.
Super girly, cheeky smiles, gorgeous prints, glam hair and make up, ladies tea party chic...... whats not to like???

Fallen in love with J JS Lee

Central Saint Martins graduate Jackie Lee, sent a beautiful refined collection down the catwalk to massive smiles from the fashion press. Effortlessly gliding tailoring in whites, turquoises, pinks and gingham with areas of shine and texture.

The collection was inspired by the ever-changing colours and free movement of the iridescent jellyfish.
Its structure, both fluid and luminous, translated effortlessly throughout the collection of relaxed sports-luxe and minimalist tailoring.
Wax coated embellishments and waterproof Airtex reflected the lights of camera flashes, bringing life to the otherwise static fabric.  The silhouette was kept rather feminine, in aquarium hues of blue, salmon pink and neutrals.
Full looks in pink
Combining Gingham with wax shine
Catwalk was buzzing, girls strutted down the catwalk with ease and sophistication.
 Tailoring with square details
I also loved the monochrome colours and bold combinations, below highlights this showing contemporary cool.

Bold geometric printed knitwear and gingham were some of the most prominent aesthetics presented, but we must admit, this collection was all about the underwater textures.
