LFW Mark Fast

Orange is the new black proved to be the talk after the Mark Fast show. As we fell in love with the textures we witnessed, the vibrant colours of Mark Fast's collection brightened up a rainy afternoon in London. Mark Fast gave us evening wear, crop tops, oversized coats and he showed us that knitwear can be layered without making you look frumpy in any way shape or form. Making us super happy that layering our knits isn't a faux-pas.

The orange tones of the knitwear reminded us of the beautiful autumn walks one takes during that season.

The golden creepers added a certain layer of glitz to the collection, demonstrating that platform shoes and metallics aren't going anywhere yet. 

  

 Inspiration came from city lights and busy streets.

Meaning make-up and hair was kept to a minimal to retain the focus on the collection. Frosted eye make-up alongside loose waves and braids adorned the looks to perfection.

Mark Fast stayed true to his roots with his collection of textured knitwear, his style has gained him a faithful celebrity following- ones even sat front row today.

FRIDAY LATE AT V&A: Lara Jensen - Backstage preview

On a late friday night we joined designer Lara Jensen at V and A museum to showcase her amazing jewelled head pieces. But we were not alone! This couldn't be done without a help from five stunning models and fantastic team.

We fell in love with the beautiful adornments since the first show many months ago and to work with them again was super.

Here is a little behind of the scenes from our magical evening! 

Everything started with a five beauties. But with a help from hair and make-up artists and little styling we turned them into a marvelous Lara Jensen girls! 

We love to take care of our lovely models and in order to make them feel as comfortable as possible, while hair stylists work their magic, we brought in some fun slippers!

Such a cute little Minnie Mouse buns suited girls perfectly!

 And then it was time for make-up!
Make up was headed by Nat Van Zee.

We take care of every single girl!

And voila! It is time for rehearsal!

We tried out V and A stairs and hallways before the big moment!

After all - practice makes us perfect!

And finally it's time to put on jewelry!

They look like foreign princesses!

Oh, fantastic! Love it!

3, 2, 1... and the big moment is here!

We thought that lights and shadows made a perfectly mysterious atmosphere!

This was one magical evening and we absolutely loved it! And so did the spectators or at least that was what we could tell from the loud applause we could heard from them!

PFW Céline

There was nothing we didn't love about Céline SS14 collection. We loved her artistic touch, the cool colors and vintage sport inspiration. You might think it is impossible to put it all together but Phoebe Philo does it amazingly and that is why we adore her.

 We got inspired from the girls in tennis!

 and stylish golf players.

we liked that checked details that was going on!

And the make-up was more than cool! The dark black eyebrows with a bit of color and the thin dancing ones!

But our most favorite part was fantastic brush stroke pattern that was used for everything from shirts to coats!

We remembered our love for pop-art and Roy Lichtenstein!

 We got inspired of paintings by Robert Mangold

and Theo Van Doesburg

 or any other artistic expression!
