LFW Christopher Kane

Christopher Kane's collection lived up to the hype and completely mesmerised us. With a colour palette that was dominated by the colour black, reminding us that you can never go wrong with it. He gave us texture, little black dresses, fur, perfect pleats, organza, and lean tailoring that left wanting for more.

Taking the setting of an abattoir as inspiration, he morphed codes from the luxury market with a determination to break design barriers.

Christopher created amazing innovative 3D designs.

Christopher Kane reminded us that the pastel pink trend isn't going anywhere yet.

But what stole the show were the handbags. Christopher Kane showcased his first ever line of bags ranging from clutches, totes and box bags in all different types of textures.

The beautiful collection of eight gorgeous bags won't hit the shelves until autumn this year.

Everything about Christopher Kane's collection was effortlessly perfect and a total stand out. We want more!

LFW Todd Lynn

Todd Lynn is known for his ability to make the art of tailoring into ready-to-wear womenswear. His autumn/winter collection invited us over to the dark side, where sleek cuts, greys and blacks dominate.

The cuts and the use of dark tones reminded us of Trinity of the Matrix films. A character who truly mastered leather and black in every way. Much like Todd Lynn's tuxedo trims and moody palette.

Black was the foundation for most outfits which also contained oily greens and gunmetal metallics to make the looks that extra bit special.

Make up was kept to a minimum aside from the popping harsh blue brows on selected models as they rocked down the catwalk. Likewise, hair was kept very sleek to reinforce the strong look of the collection.

The collection inspired us to be independent women, warriors - a word whispered constantly throughout the show. Thank you Todd Lynn for keeping us strong and fierce as one should be.

E.Tautz, ~ Saville Row trained, exquisite cuts, beautiful tonal combinations, with a touch of autumnal flair. 

I was blown away by the collection by relative new comer E.Tautz. Textures in wool and shine, smart suits with a contemporary twists, structured hats and a play on proportion. What more could you want?? I would happily walk down the road to the sound and views of this collection all winter long. 

Its not often that I am so excited by a mens collection but the layering, exotic print scarves and explosions of colour pulled this one to my attention. Great details, fantastic quality and brilliant model casting I had no choice but to write all about it. Definitely one to watch.
