WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Interior design meets fashion design

We take inspiration from everywhere! We get inspired by art, we get inspired by culture and this weekend we got inspired by beautiful interiors.

TREND **PATTERN** we absolutely love patterns, moroccan traditional interiors/travels, Print and texture and we are not the only ones!! Here are some interior/fashion combinations.
Rich and colorful!
 We mix and match patterns!
We are still dreaming of that Mary Katrantzou collection inspired from Ming Vases!
Original designs, we loved the shape and print!
And then of course Carven!
Key inspiration tableware!
Lets not forget the latest TOPSHOP Unique collection and that islamic print...... that we fell in love with!
Makes us relive our Moroccan travels!
and dream about staying in places like these!
We wouldn't mind going to Africa, one bit if we were greated with prints like these.
Because African print has been one of our obsession for a while now!
TRIBAL CHIC The room of our dreams!
And lastly a Scandinavian twist!
We remember Marimekko whose prints we love to use in both our dresses and bedding!
And we are not the only ones!
We love Marimekko print on trousers!
and also on the curtains!
All in all we are lovers of fashion but also have a super soft spot for interiors, we decorate ourselves in accessories and now we also decorate our houses. Would you not love to match your house?? Live in a home full of print and colour?? Experiment with whats inside and whats outside. Key for our trends is this mixture.

WE LOVE INTERIOR MEETS FASHION do you??

TRENDING: Bright red lips

We have to begin with Diana's Vreeland quote about Mick Jagger: "THOSE LIPS" but this time we are talking about those bold bright red lips that mesmerized us one too many times during SS14 shows.
There is one thing that we are very sure about. This will be trending for SS14 if not earlier!

While it is getting colder every day here in London, we have decided to dream about the sunshine with this Hawaii inspired trend. Seen all over the catwalk at SS14 collections its saucy, sunny and full of colourful holiday vibes.
We think that MSGM did it beautifully well, how cool are these looks?? Now we wish it would be summer all year long!

And then there was Naeem Khan and we loved, loved, loved his tropical vibe.
Maybe we won't go surfing in these dresses but we will definitely be soaking up the tropical vibe.

TRENDING: The world of art

There always have been that never ending question is fashion an art or not and we are not going to start that discussion again. But one thing is for sure - designers take a lot of inspiration from the world of art and in SS14 we see it more than ever.
We start with artistic brush strokes at Celine. SUPER!! TREND CRUSH!! Phoebe Philo you made us proud!
Also Karl took up a paint brush for Chanel collection.
Color palette!
There were some fantastic water color applique at Antonio Marras.
Watercolor fun!
And now lets get to the big guns! Dutch still life paintings at Dries Van Noten. We thought that fall like colors for spring is something unique but definitely worth a go!
Dutch Master tulip paintings. Pure beauty!
Paul Gauguin is one of our favorite painters that captivates us with his color choice, therefore, we couldn't have been more exciting to see his artworks on Aquilano Rimondi designs!
And then there was Andrew Gn who took works by Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso as his inspiration and we adored those shapes and colors!
Also Jil Sander took references from art inspiration; the looks above are our favorite from the SS14 collection.
Inspiration was taken by Alighiero Boetti art works.
And then there was Jean Charles De Castelbajac who's collection sung with faces, illustrations and bright bold artistic strokes.
Inspiration: Constantin Brâncuși kissing faces.

Joan Miro.
Sonia Rykiel turned to Art Nouveau and showed some cacao plant print.
 And lastly PRADA!
OUR ULTIMATE FAVORITE!
There is simply divine! Popping with texture, details and with a set to die for, we want rainbows in our wardrobes and all over our interiors.
